After learning HTML using Notepad and experimenting with early versions
of Frontpage, I migrated to Dreamweaver and have continued to use
it since version 1 |
| Perl |
Before moving to PHP, I used Perl extensively to develop database
connectivity for a large number of sites. I continue to maintain these
sites and also have been contracted to maintain sites developed by
others in Perl |
| Visual Basic |
I have developed a number of applications using Visual Basic, either
as stand alone packages or as macros in Microsoft Office applications |

Clients frequently require me to assist them in making Access databases
accessible via their website |
| Superbase |
This is one of the earliest relational database packages for Windows
and was used by the Disabled Living Foundation. I developed many in-house
applications using Superbase and also a Multimedia CDRom which sold
as a commercial package |

I have started using OpenOffice as an alternative to MS Office,
mainly because it is Open Source and free |
